At every Washington Capitals game during the 2007-2008 season, you would hear Al Pacino stating ”life’s a game of inches” as told during his film ‘Any Given Sunday.’  This certainly proved true for the team during the playoff series vs the Philadelphia Flyers.  In the end, they would find themselves a few inches short.

Down 2-0 after the first period in game two of the series, Alexander Semin would find himself with a golden opportunity to make it a one goal game.  He would not convert, and the Caps would not score for the remainder of the game.
